I don't know if the person we recently dealt with is the same "Jack" as you, but we caught on to his scam. He said his name was Jack Fourchette of JGF Transport in Montreal, Quebec. He sent us fraudulent paperwork (USDOT and MC numbers), and we have advised F.M.C.S.A. hotline that he doctored other carriers' certificates to misrepresent himself. He gave my company a load (we found out it had been double-brokered) and tried to get us to deliver to some obscure warehouse in Montreal instead of the consignee on the paperwork. Link has been advised, and the R.C.M.P. have a file on him, but cannot prosecute until he actually steals a load. F.M.C.S.A. are looking for him as it is a $10,000 USD fine for using another carrier's USDOT number or MC number. Maybe they can find him and collect the $20,000 worth of fines.
