All kidding aside - why are you not putting claims to their insurance company directly? Tell the insurance company that they lost the freight, cannot give you an accurate location of the location of the freight and are unwilling to assist in obtaining the whereabouts. Continue with the fact that you are entering the claim to preserve any future losses. I would hope that their insurance company would grow tired of investigating each one of these. Also call their broker to see if the insurance company has any updates.

The insurance company can only ask Carrier and ask what happened and in this case, they will say we have the freight in our trailer BUT we want payment first in our bank then only we can deliver. hence insurance closes the case and won't move further. Carrier has to accept first what the Claimant is saying then only insurance moves further. It's not easy, these crooks know all Ins and outs of doing such dirty games and that's why they are still surviving. I know there are times when you have doubt about the carrier but still have to use it because you want to move the freight, REAL carrier background search comes with experience NOT from 411. Inside Transport is indeed a very good portal to get some sense of the carrier and then one should use your own experience. I have been hearing about this guy Kuldip for the last 9 years now. from the day when he had 5k logistics, If you see this guy in real you will know he was not born to do good deeds at all, very cruel face, and was always drunk. I mean I have a lot to write about him but just to sum up in this industry Follow bad people and their activities regardless if you are a carrier or broker or shipper or driver. Good guys will always stay with you. I rather cancel my customer order but avoid giving it to the carrier who is very new in my knowledge or I don't recall seeing their equipment on road.

I understand that it's tough - real tough; especially right now when everyone is searching frantically for any truck to get product covered and you stumble into this situation.

YYZ, I mirror your comments, on top of that when He got wind Cops may get involved, he said he would tack on storage charges while he waited for his money, which of course, legally he could do. He knew full well where he stood. Every angle covered...Truly all happened for no good reason.

Definitely a shady operation; they held one of our shipments for ransom for advance payment when the driver finally arrived at the consignee after 2.5 weeks late. Their dispatchers are not to be trusted

Note that Logistic 99 (4380706 Nova Scotia Ltd) might somehow be involved with Khokhar (and Kuldeep). I had been informed back in March that most likely my load had been put on the train through the use of Logistic 99. I also had someone contact me yesterday advising of Kuldeep's involvement in this company as well. Now I can't say for sure that Logistic 99 is a Kuldeep Otal company, (as I haven't witnessed it myself), but I just wanted to put this info out there as I've had 2 different people link these companies together.

We were also getting e- mail from this company ...even I was getting the same feeling that Logistics 99 must be linked to them ...see below the screen shot of their NMFTA certificate , Debert is in ON ??? Something fishy.....the street address is scary ( google and check)

I tried checking their MC # on Safer Web

That is strange - the POstal Code is for NS and so is the address .. but it says ON... not sure if that is a typo...

So apparently I was too late in putting 2 and 2 together..... one of my dispatchers gave Logistic 99 a load....so annoying. At least it delivered without any problems, but I'm curious to see if any carriers out there picked up a load going from Milton ON (May 11th) to Fort McMurray, AB (May 20th)? I wouldn't be surprised this has been double brokered, I will post proof in a few that Logistic99 is a Kuldeep Sign Otal company

I am contemplating speaking to a Toronto Star reporter. As reported on these threads, Otal's latest base for operations is 50 Centennial Dr., Orangeville. His latest name is AST Logistics. I believe he is there fairly often.

Trinamics name still appears on the building though Otal, through one of his numbered companies bought the building last June. He leaves it on so it appears that unsuspecting carriers think they are picking up from a manufacturer of packaging equipment.

Inside the yard, you will find equipment still with the following names on them - Ellysium, V Trans, Khoklar.

Maybe picketing in front of his building??

782-382-1100 is the number but it’s no use. They will tell you that they mail the check or will e transfer the money by the end of the week. It’s been 3 months and they’re still telling me that.
