I'm sure that this was designed specifically as a tit-for-tat in response to the Canadian rule. I don't think it is a coincidence that this announcement was held off until just now - they wanted to see if Canada was going to enforce their rule to block entry to non-Canadians unless fully vaccinated. Since Canada is doing it then the US will reverberate and block non-US citizens unless fully vaccinated.

The question then becomes; is this a retaliatory move by the US? Or was it both governments working in tandem to coerce their citizens in another manner to get fully vaccinated?

Anyone know if the US has a similar app to the ArriveCan app? So simple to just upload everything and create a travel profile. Or are they just going to be looking at random pieces of paper all day?
