Just you and I eh... haahahaa...
I heard back from a Geotab account manager, and she is recommending a system called "SurfSite" by a company called Lytx...
I am expecting to get some more info on Monday and to schedule a demo. I'll let you know what I find...

Also want to contact Samsara. they were bugging me last year to try it out and they offered free cameras

Thank you, I just had someone else suggest Samsara too... But I thought they were an ELD provider...
I did see a demo of the Lytx system, it is pretty wild... I will be ordering some demo cameras this week...
Also checking out Rosco Cameras next week...

i have the demo camera from Geotab (surfsight). Installed it in my personal pickup. Works great so far

I just received my Lytx Surfsite cameras today, hoping to install this week. What do you think so far? Do you have the driver facing camera active?
I also received cameras from Samsara... Several people suggested I check them out... We have 3 installed and they are pretty cool. We have had a few auto-logged events happen and we could easily get the video footage to see what was going on.

I'm not sure you would want driver facing cameras truth is it could be bad for your defence in a law suit and great for the people suing you. I was told this by a very high priced lawyer.

I was trying to get demo from our ELD provider - but they are charging me ... did you receive free demo versions?

Indeed... I'm testing out a dual facing camera, but we will be placing a sticker over the internal camera. No interest in taking it to that level at this time...

Yes sir, all demos have been free of charge...
That said... The Samsara cameras are basically plug n play... But the Lytx Surfsite ones must be wired in by someone with more expertise than me... So, although we are getting a free demo, with the Lytx devices we will probably have to pay a shop to install them...

Not sure how firmly tied to them you are... but it might be worth trying out the Samsara system... I like the cameras so much, I'm actually going to try out their ELD on a new truck.

My partner really likes Omnitracs - but I contacted Samsara - let's see when we get the demo if it will change his mind - thanks
